I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but some fruits are higher in sugar than what you may think. Here’s a short list of the highs and lows…
- Thank God strawberries are low in sugar cup and are packed with Vitamin C!
- Cherries are high in sugar, but help fight cancer and other diseases, not to mention are rich in antioxidants.
- Raspberries are low in sugar and also have a good amount of potassium, manganese, copper, and iron.
- Unfortunately my favorite, mango, is high in sugar and even worse, calories! On the bright side, they help with eye care and also aid in digestion because they contain enzymes that help in breaking down protein.
