How to Recover from the Holidays

Hey Dolls,

Not sure about you, but the holidays did me dirty, lol!

Between the holiday parties and New Year’s eve, let’s just say I will be hitting the treadmill extra hard this month. Of course, like any fitness ROCKSTAR, I have a few tricks to help my body get back on track. Here’s a short list:

  1. Green tea not only helps you give that pop of energy that one needs throughout the day; it also comes with plenty of antioxidants, which can help prevent cell damage induced by too much junk food.
  2. Peppermint tea is also one of my favorite go-to’s because it always helps when I am feeling bloated or crampy. It’s also perfect for helping your digestive tract because it allows gas to pass through more easily and helps stop sharp pains.
  3. If you’re like me and had a little too much champagne, I suggest grabbing yourself a couple of bananas. Unfortunately, drinking alcohol can cause dehydration, and bananas help replenish potassium and minerals.
