Not sure about you, but before each and every cheat meal I am always thinking about how much extra time in the gym will this glass of wine or piece of chocolate cost me, lol! At the end of the day, losing weight or balancing weight is all about your calorie intake. For example, I always tell clients to workout before that yummy cheat meal so that your metabolism is higher. So here’s a short list of activities that can help you enjoy the wild side of wine and cupcakes, while staying lean.
- GO BIKING: The sun’s out, and spring’s finally here with summer not far behind. Next weekend, go for a family bike-ride around the neighborhood. Even pedaling at a moderate pace for a mere 15 minutes will help a 150-pound woman leave 102 calories in the wind.
- GO SHOPPING: My all time favorite way to drop pounds is shopping, of course! Spend 30 minutes searching the racks and trying on clothes to burn off at least 100 calories. You don’t even have to buy anything!
- YOGA: Yoga is not only good for your mind, body and soul, but doing 20-minutes of some easy yoga poses or stretching burns up about 100 calories. Plus, it will help clear your mind for the day.
