How Meditation Can Help Change Your Eating Habits

Not sure about about you, but 2015 has been a very busy (but productive!) year for me,to say the least…

Let’s see… I  did 5 fitness shows! I still don’t know how I made it through that madness, including crazy dieting, followed by insane cardio sessions performed 7 days a week. After that came my wedding – which great, but super stressful! And last, but not least, I made the big move from my hot pink city apartment to the suburbs. Around this time, I started meditating in the mornings  for 5 to 10 minutes in order to allow my mind and body to relax

Why should  YOU meditate?

You will become more mindful and aware of your thoughts and actions by allowing yourself  to slow down and move with purpose. Not to mention you will have less stress. Remember, too much stress can be unhealthy and damaging if you are unable to control it. Meditating also helps you out when it comes to making healthy food choices, believe it or not. When your mind is calm, you become to understand the importance of taking time out to prepare & enjoy your food.
