Not sure about you, but the holidays did me dirty, lol!
Between the holiday parties and New Year’s eve, let’s just say I will be hitting the treadmill extra hard this month. Of course, like any fitness ROCKSTAR, I have a few tricks to help my body get back on track. Here’s a short list:
- Green tea not only helps you give that pop of energy that one needs throughout the day; it also comes with plenty of antioxidants, which can help prevent cell damage induced by too much junk food.
- Peppermint tea is also one of my favorite go-to’s because it always helps when I am feeling bloated or crampy. It’s also perfect for helping your digestive tract because it allows gas to pass through more easily and helps stop sharp pains.
- If you’re like me and had a little too much champagne, I suggest grabbing yourself a couple of bananas. Unfortunately, drinking alcohol can cause dehydration, and bananas help replenish potassium and minerals.
